You must agree to all these rules before riding. 

Riders are to obey all road rules and Police instructions.

Bike helmets made to Australia Standards must to be worn and all bikes must be roadworthy.

No more than two riders abreast - maximum.

Riders are to carry spare tubes and pumps to repair punctures. Assistance is available to people who have difficulties but every effort should be made to be self sufficient.

Do not follow a vehicle within five metres or have anything (eg food) handed to you from a moving vehicle

Use hand signals when turning and keep one hand on the handle bars at all times

Conventional road and mountain bikes are expected. If you wish to ride an alternative (tandem, recumbent, unicycle(?!), etc) please discuss first with the organisers.

Bunches of more than 20 must break up into smaller groups

This is a day ride so no lights should need to be carried.
