Years ago a group of people decided to raise money for the 4C's Emergency Food Bank. The Food Bank gives assistance to people that need it the most in the community with emergency rations and other assistance.

So why ride 160kms to Sale in the name of charity? 

We believe in the mission of helping others and telling about the love of Jesus. Yes, the Slog to Sale is organised by a few people from different churches in Pakenham. But don't let that deter you! We invite you to see how normal we really are!

The Bible says in 1 John 3:17 “If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?” 

The Slog to Sale is a great practical way to put something back in to the community and help those in need, and have fun doing it!
